Harrison Spinks Beds & Mattresses - The True Bedmakers
All of these beds and mattresses are entirely handcrafted, from the most luxurious natural materials. A Harrison mattress doesn't begin life in their factory. All Harrison beds start with the livestock on their very own farm, with the Sheep, Goats and Alpacas providing the mattress fillings.
The skills of their craft has been handed down through five generations of this family run business, which dates back to 1840. Now in employment of over 600 people, the core values and beliefs in traditional manufacturing techniques and natural materials, still sits at the heart of the company, and has long been the bedrock of their success. That isn't to say that the company has stubbornly stayed still, but far from it. They've continually innovated by inventing and patenting their own Pocket Spring technologies, along with championing the use of 100% Natural Materials.
How do Harrison Spinks follow their ethos? They now manage over 90% of the methods used to craft each and every one of their mattresses - rearing and shearing their own sheep; growing hemp and flax crops on their farm, felling trees from their own woodland. They even designed and made their own pocket spring production machinery. No other bed manufacturer in the world goes to the length that Harrison do, to control these processes and the difference can be felt in every mattress.
It is not possible to puchase a Harrison bed from stock, as every product is made to order and bespoke to each customer's specifications. Although they have set models in each range which dictate the mattress 'recipe' (number of pocket springs and the specific natural materials used within the comfort layers), you control how firm or soft it should be and have the freedom of choice over fabric options, storage options, headboards and size. You can even have your new divan bed made to your own custom dimensions if you wish.
