The Laygel Plus is an enhanced version of the Laygel Mattress, carrying twice the amount of responsive laygel foam in the comfort layer! This material is similar to Geltex which is used by big brand companies such as Silentnight and Sealy. This soft and comfortable material hugs your curves as you sleep, cradling it in comfort and maximising contact between your body and the mattress, so it can support your body weight evenly - free from pressure points.
Laygel stays cooler than memory foam, with performance which falls just short of cool blue foam. It's also bouncier too due to the way that it reacts more quickly. Memory foam creates an impression of your body as you lie on it, with the shape being held in place whilst the material is warm with your body heat. Although it does reform once you've got out of bed and the memory foam has cooled down, laygel doesn't have this issue and gives you more freedom to roll and move on the mattress, which makes changing sleeping position much more seamless.
The dual layer construction still applies to the Laygel Plus, meaning that beneath the comfort layer, you'll still find the orthopedic foam layer there to provide its robust level of support.
