What is a Kayflex Cool Blue Mattress?
Cool Blue mattresses have been developed to overcome some of the complaints of a traditional foam mattress. Traditionally, foam mattresses are heat retentive and, particularly in the summer, this can make for an uncomfortable sleep, especially if you are a warm sleeper. Cool Blue mattresses tend to alleviate these problems by incorporating a cool, gel infused layer on top of the foam.
What is a latex mattress?
As the name suggests mattresses that are latex infused have a layer of latex on top the mattress. Latex infused mattresses are the new hypoallergenic mattresses because they are antimicrobial and repel harmful micro-organisms, such as dust mites, fungi and bacteria.
Is latex eco-friendly
Latex is incredibly eco-friendly as it is made out of the sap from the rubber tree. As the trees don't need to be cut down or damaged to produce latex one tree can produce up to 30 years of latex. Due to this latex is biodegradable and won't sit in a landfill for years once the mattress has lived past it's lifespan
