    What is an adjustable bed?

    An adjustable bed is a bed which can adjust position to give you the best support and comfort where you need it. If you have any mobility problems they can make moving around whilst in bed much easier.

    What are the health benefits of an adjustable bed?

    One of the most commonly appreciated health benefits of adjustable beds is reducing back pain. If your spine is not properly aligned at night, or there is too much pressure on one part of your body, you're apt to wake up with lower back pain. You can adjust the height of the mattress until your back pain disappears.

    How much do adjustable mattresses cost?

    What sizes do adjustable beds come in?

    Not everyone knows that adjustable beds usually are available from single to super king size.

    Can you sleep on your side on an adjustable mattress?

    With an adjustable bed, you can elevate the upper portion of your body into a comfortable position, and so take some pressure of your hips, neck, and shoulders. You can indeed sleep on your side in an adjustable bed.

    Do you sell adjustable beds with storage?

    Storage is something that doesn’t tend to be a feature with an adjustable bed but it can be used with a storage bed frame. The storage bed will also need to provide a flat surface for which to set a platform adjustable bed on.

    Do you sell electric adjustable beds with massage?

    We don’t currently sell any beds with a massage feature.

    Can you have a headboard with an adjustable base?

    Yes lots of our models feature a headboard, just choose the option to add them onto your order.

    Can I use a standard mattress on an adjustable bed?

    While there are many mattresses that can work with adjustable beds, there are some mattresses that won't be compatible with this bed type. In general, all memory foam, latex, and any other non-innerspring mattress will work well with adjustable beds. Talk to us for advice on which ones will be suitable.

    Is there a weight limit?

    Many adjustable beds can be built to support and lift heavier loads. Our beds typically take weights up to 28 stone as standard but more advice can be given when you talk to us.

    Are adjustable beds exempt from VAT?

    To claim for VAT exemption the supplier will usually ask you to sign a form declaring that the item is for a person with a disability or chronically sick. A Declaration form can be download from HM Revenue and Customs or from one of their local offices.
