1000 Pocket Springs
Individually pocketed springs are the key to support systems which cater to the widest variety of people. By each spring being separately housed within its own fabric sleeve and therefore free from the rigid confines of open coil systems, they react only to the weight and shape of whatever is placed on them, exerting the suitable amount of upwards force required. The unified surface of the springs can ‘follow the shape’ of your body in real-time, adjusting to cater for your current sleeping position at any time. It doesn’t matter if you sleep on your back, sleep on your side, or even change positions during the night; the springs react accordingly, always keeping your spine correctly aligned and your body evenly supported.
Deep Layer of Memory Foam
Also known as visco-elastic, memory foam responds to the shape of your body and softens with your natural warmth, gently copying your curves in order to suspend you in comfort throughout the night. By creating a soft surface to cushion against the firmness of the additional fillings and metal springs at the mattress core, memory foam is comfortable and promotes healthy blood circulation, allowing you to feel more energised and refreshed in the morning.
Added pleasure which also has a practical benefit; the slight hinge effect at the edges of the pillow top when you lie on it, reduce the impact on the mattress sides, maximising its integrity long term.
By spreading your body weight evenly across the spring system, this prevents aches developing around the heavier parts of your body such as the hips and shoulders.
The individual nature of the pocket springs, effectively create separate support zones for each person if the bed is shared, preventing movements during the night from disturbing each other. The impact of movements and weight are absorbed, local to their side of the mattress; even preventing them both from rolling into the middle together.
Medium to Firm
With an overall tension which sits between medium and firm, the comfort of the memory foam is balanced against the robust support of the spring system.
Specially designed for your convenience, the Memory Comfort 1000 is single sided and although it should still be rotated regularly from top-to-tail, it does not need to be flipped over.
Flag stitched for strength, turning handles have been included to assist with rotation of this product.
A stretchy knitted fabric cover has been included; having the right level of give and movement to allow the memory foam to work its satisfying magic.
The mattress measures in at 24cm (or 9½ inches in imperial).
Vents for Aeration
To help keep the mattress core fresh and cool, there are metal vents along the sides, allowing a bellows effect when you get in and out of bed; pushing the stale air out and drawing the clean air in.
A practical and elegant solution, glides mean that the bed will stay put even on hard flooring, whilst you still shouldn't have too much trouble when deliberately sliding it across carpet.
